The 1951 Mies van der Rohe designed Farnsworth House, an icon of 20th century modern architecture in Plano, Illinois, is owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) and operated as a house museum by the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois (LPCI). A steel and glass masterpiece designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1951, and includes visitor information, tours, photos, history and a shop located in Plano.
